Mrs. Lucille D. Taylor, 77, a resident of Severn, N.C., died on Thursday, December 1, 1994, at Halifax Memorial Hospital in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. Mrs. Taylor was a native of Northampton County, N.C., and was the granddaughter of the late Sallie Sykes DeLoatch. She was the widow of James Quentin ``Pete'' Taylor. She was a member of Severn Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Quen Taylor; a daughter-in-law, Barbara P. Taylor; and granddaughter, Victoria Taylor, all of Winston-Salem, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Lula Davis.
Graveside services will be held in Severn Cemetery, Severn, N.C., on Saturday, Dec. 3, 1994 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. R. Kristopher Beaman. The family will receive friends at the residence on Main Street in Severn. Memorial donations may be made to the Severn Baptist Church, Severn, N.C. 27877. Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins, is handling arrangements.
