SHORE'S REP. BLOXOM RECUPERATING FROM OPEN-HEART SURGERY

Del. Robert S. Bloxom of Mappsville is recovering from planned open-heart, single-valve replacement surgery.

The operation took place Wednesday at Chippenham Hospital.

The surgery was scheduled to allow the Eastern Shore legislator enough time to recover before the 1995 General Assembly convenes on Jan. 16. He expects to return to his office at Bloxom Auto Supply in Mappsville in one month. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
