Maude Brown Birt, 82, of Christian Care Center, died Thursday, December 1, 1994, at her residence.
Mrs. Birt was a native of Portsmouth, Va., and was a member of New Testament Church.
She is survived by a step-daughter, Minnie Ruth Birt, of New York City, New York, and two sisters, Ruth Durant and Charlotte Yeates, both of New Bern, N.C.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m., at Oscar's Memorial Chapel, in New Bern, N.C. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Garden, Norfolk, Va., Monday at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Oscar's Mortuary, Inc. 1700 Oscar Drive, New Bern, N.C.
