Based on their Girl Scout performances during these past two football seasons, and due to the controversy surrounding the team name, it's time for the Redskins to take my suggestion and change their name to a far more appropriate one: The Jack Kent Cookies.
Isn't that a great team name? Future sports headlines would fairly leap off the page:
``Bears devour Cookies'';
``Soft Cookie defense crumbles'';
``Cookie pileup causes fumble'';
``The `fridge' cools Cookies'';
and even ``Cookies lost in Sugar Bowl.''
This is not a half-baked idea.
