ANGLER HAS THE FISH ALL TO HIMSELF . . . IF THEY BITE

Dan McRee of Herndon, Va., had the pier all to himself - and the

fish, too, for that matter when he dropped a line Wednesday at

Jeanette's Pier at Nags Head. McRee said the cold, windy weather and

the lack of fish didn't bother him either. ``It doesn't matter what

I catch. Just being out here soothes the mind,'' the retired federal

government employee said.
