ARLAN L. YOUNG

Mr. Arlan L. ``Al'' Young, 59, died Friday, December 2, 1994, in Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel, Greenville. A graveside service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in Princess Anne Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Mr. Young was a native of Seldon, Indiana. He served 20 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1974 as a tech sergeant. After his retirement he was employed by Civil Service with the United States Navy in Virginia Beach, Virginia from 1974 until 1979. In 1990, he moved to Ayden, N.C., and was employed with Voice of America, retiring in September of 1994. He was a member of Bayside Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

He is survived by: His Wife, Bobbye ``Fran'' Young; daughters, Cathy Y. Wogomon of Middleburg, Fla., Bobbye Ann Y. Cox of Ayden; son, Tracy A. Young of Ayden; brother, Terry Young of Michigan; sisters, Doris Y. Chick of Las Vegas, Nev., Marilyn Garrison of Lacon, Ill.; 6 grandchildren.

Arrangements by Wilkerson Funeral Home, Greenville, N.C.
