John Buxton ``Johnnie Buck'' Williams, 77, of the 700 block of Sunset St., died Dec. 2, 1994, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Mr. Williams was born in Raleigh, N.C. He was a retired wholesale grocery and farm chemical salesman after 40 years, a member of Ahoskie United Methodist Church and alumni of the Methodist Orphanage, Raleigh, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Jernigan Williams; a daughter, Susan Williams Brooks of Macon, Ga.; a son, John Buxton Williams, III of Decatur, Ga.; two sisters, Margaret Williams Barnes of Raleigh, N.C., and Eva Williams Shannon of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and a brother, Samuel A. Williams of Raleigh, N.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, by Dr. Kenneth Hall and the Rev. John Barnes. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to Ahoskie Rescue Squad, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910.
