JOSIE HARRELL MORRIS

Josie Harrell Morris, 81, of 311 Linden Avenue, died December 2, 1994, in Williamsburg.

A native of Powellsville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Joe and Lula Parker Harrell and the widow of Edward B. Morris.

Mrs. Morris was a member of West End Baptist Church, Mt. Sinai Chapter 18 Order of the Eastern Star, the Obici Hospital Auxiliary and the Red Cross Blood Mobile.

Survivors include her daughter, Joanne F. Batten of Williamsburg; her son, Jerry L. Farless of Windsor; her brother, George Arthur Harrell of Portsmouth; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her former husband, John L. Farless.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at the graveside in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Bob Vaughan.

The family will receive friends at the R.W. Baker and Company Funeral Home Sunday from 7 to 8:30 PM.
