John J. ``Pat'' Patterson Jr., 61, of Virginia Beach, died December 1, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Patterson was born in Philadelphia, Pa. He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran with 20 years of service, and a retired Outside Machinist with 20 years of service with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Mr. Patterson was a member of all the auxiliary clubs pertaining to the Navy.
Survivors include his father, John J. Patterson, Sr. of Secane, Pa.; a brother; Jim Patterson of Springhill, Fla.; three sisters, Mary Leonard of Secane, Pa., Kathleen McElwee of Broomall, Pa., and Susan Glackin of Aston, Pa.; and stepdaughters Heather Black, Susan Black and Patricia Black, all of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 1994 in the Chapel of the Good Shepard, Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach by Father John Carter.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road Chapel is handling arrangments.
