DELORES M. COKER

Delores Marie ``Dee'' Coker, of the 100 block of Elm Ave., a retired office worker, died Dec. 2, 1994, in her home in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Coker was born in Norfolk County, Va. She had retired from the Navy Public Works Center after 19 years. She was the widow of Jeremiah A. Coker Sr. and was a former member of Zion Bethel United Church of Christ. She was predeceased by a son, Andrew Coker and two sisters, Bertha Elliott and Rosemarie House.

Survivors include six sons, Keith W. Coker of Maryland, Jeremiah A. Coker Jr., Andre Coker and Michael Coker, all of Portsmouth and Bradley T. Coker of Richmond and Shawn Coker of Wichita, Kan.; five sisters, Joyce Hite of Portsmouth, Violet Elliott, Schrrie Elliott and Betty Ellis, all of New York City and Vanessa Smallwood of Norfolk; four brothers, Joseph Elliott Jr., Jeffery Elliott, Gerold J. Elliott and Jackie Elliott, all of New York, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Zion Bethel United Church of Christ by the Rev. D.A. Peace. Burial will be in Pentecostal Holiness Church Churchland Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing will begin at 3 p.m. today in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
