Inez ``Sister Baby'' Mayes, of the 21000 block of Bethel Road, died Friday, Dec. 2, 1994, in Obici Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Southampton County and the widow of Garfield Mayes. She was a retired domestic worker. She was a member of O'Berry A.M.E.Z. Church and the deaconness board. She was a former member of the Senior Choir and Usher Board.
Survivors include two daughters, Candice Woodruff of Franklin and Wilhelmina Holton (Mickey) of Washington, D.C.; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 1994, in O'Berry A.M.E.Z. Church by the Rev. W.I. Hatch. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
