William Earl ``Perk'' Lawrence Sr., 44, of the 1700 block of Acorn St., a pipefitter, died Dec. 1, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Lawrence was born in Norfolk County and was employed with Norshipco. He was a member of New Galilee Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include his wife, Novella Lawrence; five daughters, Sheila Lawrence, Tumeka Lawrence, Lakeesha Lawrence and Lataunia Lawrence of Chesapeake and Yolanda Lawrence of Norfolk; a son, William E. Lawrence Jr. of Chesapeake; four sisters, Jessie Funderburk and Gladys Blow of Chesapeake, Ruth Smith and Barbara Hinton of Waterbury, Conn.; four brothers, John Lawrence, Frank Lawrence, James Lawrence and Marvin Lawrence of Chesapeake; and nine grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Galilee Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Anderson Foreman. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
