Frank T. ``Tommy'' Brown, 49, of the 3300 block of Sir Meliot Drive, a probation officer, died Monday, Dec. 5, 1994.
Frank was a native of Norfolk and the son of Mrs. Rae H. Brown-Boone of Norfolk and the late James Herbert Brown. He was employed with the Norfolk Juvenile Court and was a faithful member of First Church Christ Holiness USA. He was a 1963 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and a 1971 graduate of Norfolk State University. He was a founding member of the MOAC Social and Beneficial Club.
He was married to the former Ruthie Benyard and in June of this year they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Thomas James Brown of the home; a god-daughter, Tarina Fleetwood; and two god-sons, Quinton Hicks and Vincent Gary.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in First Church Christ Holiness USA, 862 E. Princess Anne Road, by Bishop Eugene Brown Sr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Riddick Funeral Service. The family will be at his residence.
