MARY B. WYATT

Mary B. Wyatt, ``Mother Wyatt,'' 83, of the 2400 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., died Dec. 5, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Wyatt was born in Princess Anne County and was the widow of George Wyatt Sr. She was retired from the Naval Supply Center after over 20 years. She was a member of Freedom Church of God in Christ, Norfolk; president of Mother's Board; president of Norfolk District Usher Board; member of District and State Mother's Board; Pastor's Aide; and past president of the Civic League and Beautification Club.

Survivors include three stepdaughters, Doris Epps of Chesapeake, Mamie Williams of Norfolk and Lottie Medley of Washington, D.C.; a son, Walter Bailey of Norfolk; two stepsons, George Wyatt Jr. and Clarence Wyatt, both of Norfolk; a grandchild, Barbara Jones; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in New Hope Church of God in Christ, Norfolk, by Elder Francis Askew. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
