Christine Bayer Cartonia, 44, of the 4500 block of Hampshire Ave., died Dec. 5, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Cartonia was born in Camp Lee, Va. She was formerly of Penn Yan, N.Y., and was a resident of Norfolk since 1985.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph L. Cartonia; two daughters, Brenda S. Bayer of Rochester, N.Y., and Sabrina K. Wright of Orlando, Fla.; two sons, Thomas J. Bayer and Gerald Edward Bayer, both of Norfolk; her mother, Pauline Bayer of Hampton; two sisters, Elizabeth Camarato of Detroit and Lura E. Cabaniss of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two brothers, Richard Earl Cabaniss of Tampa, Fla., and Charles Arnold Cabaniss of Las Vegas; and a grandson, Thomas James Bayer Jr. of Penn Yan, N.Y.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. The body will be sent to Weldons Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan, N.Y. 14527, for services and burial.
