BENJAMIN F. WYNN

Benjamin F. Wynn, 75, of the 1900 block of Miller Ave., a retired first class rigger, died Dec. 5, 1994, in Chesapeake.

Mr. Wynn was born in North Carolina. He was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Congregational Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Leona Woodley Wynn; three daughters, Gail Wynn, Pat Weaver and Marilyn Wynn, all of Chesapeake; a sister, Viola Harrell of North Carolina; four brothers, Fess Wynn and Fred Wynn, both of North Carolina, John Wynn of Elizabeth City, and LeRoy Wynn of Chesapeake; and two granddaughters, Jennifer Manley and Katherine Weaver.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Mark S. Bailey and the Rev. Tom Rupp. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 p.m. today.
