David W. Demby Jr., 17, of the 4000 block of Holly Cove Drive, died Dec. 2, 1994.
David was a student at Deep Creek High School and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his mother, Constance Demby; father, David W. Demby Sr.; a sister, Danielle Hunt; and two brothers, Derrick and Daniel Demby, all of Chesapeake; grandparents, Evelyn Sanderson Welch of Norfolk, William D. Sanderson of Virginia Beach; stepgrandfather, Carl Welch of Norfolk, Roy and Jean Demby of Chesapeake; great-grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Hodnett of Virginia Beach; seven aunts; and five uncles.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1925 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. W.D. Scott Sr. The family will leave from 3302 Golden Oaks Lane in Chesapeake on the day of the funeral. Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is handling arrangements.
