As I sat down to pay my phone bill this month, it occurred to me that my long-distance company has never rewarded me for staying with it.
Never have I been lured into another ``fold,'' and I've never gotten so much as a simple ``Thank you.'' Yet, subscribers who choose to bounced from one company to the next always get the red-carpet treatment.
More rewards seem to await those who seek seemingly greener pastures. I don't begrudge them their due, but what about those who choose to stay the course? Where is their reward?
Why has our country become so disloyal? I think I'll ask my long-distance phone company.
