Mrs. Dora Owens Bartlett, 94, of the 400 block of N. 343 in Camden, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 1994, in Albemarle Hospital.
She was a native of Tyrrell County, N.C., and a member of Sawyer's Creek Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Edward Thomas ``Ned'' and Isadora Duvall Owens and was the wife of Earl Thomas Bartlett.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Bartlett is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Horace (Alice) Sawyer of Camden; four grandchildren, Wade Horace Sawyer of Camden, Walt Edison Sawyer of Burlington, N.C., Mrs. Eddie (Jan) Cartwright of South Mills, N.C., and Julie Paige Sawyer of Greenville, N.C.; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, with the Rev. Charles Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Sawyer, 645 N. 343, Camden, N.C.
