A North Carolina Power worker who was injured Wednesday afternoon when a material tray dropped 30 feet from a utility pole and fell on his head was ``doing great'' Thursday afternoon, said N.C. Power District Manager John Hughes.
``He didn't have any broken bones. He was just bruised up a bit,'' Hughes said. ``He'll probably be back on the job next week.''
The worker, whose name Hughes declined to release, was on the ground below the utility pole when the tray fell. He was wearing his hard hat. The tray struck him on the back of the head. by CNB
