Paul H. Mason, 69, died Dec. 8, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Mason was born in Chilhowie, Va. He retired from the U.S. Army as a master sergeant after 27 years and also retired from the Naval Operations Base after 18 years. He attended Bayside Baptist Church, was a member of Khedive Shrine Temple in Norfolk and was a Mason. He was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Marie H. Mason; a daughter, Cinda Mason Morgan of New Kent, Va.; two stepdaughters, Ola M. Gurney of Virginia Beach and Ellen M. Harrison of Emporia, Va.; a son, Paul H. Mason Jr. of Augusta, Ga.; a sister, Betty Mason Baldwin of Orangeburg, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Dr. Paul S. Carter. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
