WORKERS, PATRONS ROBBED AT PENINSULA BEAUTY SALON

Two armed robbers walked into a beauty salon Friday morning and demanded that workers and patrons hand over money and valuables, police said.

No one was injured during the 9 a.m. robbery at Annemarie's Hair Studio in the Stoneybrook Shopping Center in the 15400 block of Warwick Blvd.

Witnesses told police that one robber stood at the door with a handgun while the other gathered what he could from more than a dozen workers and patrons.

The man who stood at the door was described as black, in his early 20s, and 6 feet tall. He was wearing an olive drab jacket and had what looked like a new blue and white bandana over his mouth and nose.

The other man was described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a slim build, gray slacks, a tan jacket and a cap.
