The media are so transfixed with scandals that they overlook serious informational reporting.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that all retroactive tax laws will henceforth be valid. In essence, a new tax may be passed and then applied as many years back as the government might want.
Bad laws are worse than no law because they cause law-abiding citizens to lose confidence in the government and to ignore the law.
Sensationalism involving the likes of O.J. Simpson, Michael Jackson and Prince Charles seem more important to the media than things that affect peoples' daily lives.
