Operation Blessing and A-1 Beach Bikes are recycling bikes through their holiday program, ``Bikes for Tikes.'' A-1 Beach Bikes will fix used bikes to give away this Christmas. Operation Blessing is locating needy families throughout Hampton Roads and delivering the bikes to children who otherwise might not receive a Christmas present.
Bikes can be brought to A-1 Beach Bikes, 4702 Virginia Beach Blvd. from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays. Peddle Power at Hilltop North Shopping Center and Bike Stop at Dam Neck Shopping Center, are also accepting bikes. Call 497-7971. by CNB
