Cassandra ``Cassy'' Marie Walther, the four month old daughter of Elizabeth Bolster Walther of Chesapeake and Joseph Walther, died Saturday, Dec. 10, in the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
Besides her parents, Cassy is survived by her maternal grandmother, Doris Laponia of Schenectady, N.Y.; paternal grandparents, Cecelia and Richard Walther of Pennsylvania; an aunt, Kathy Walsh of Chesapeake; an uncle, John Walsh of Chesapeake; and three cousins, Becky, Christy and Patrick Walsh, all of Chesapeake.
Cassy was a member of Hickory United Methodist Church. A service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 14, in the church with the Rev. Tom Mercer officiating. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Twiford Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake, is handling the arrangements.
