MARGARET D. TEELE

Margaret Dunning Teele, of the 4200 block of Burnham Drive, died Dec. 10, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mrs. Teele, formerly of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., was associated with Benzie Realty & Associates for 25 years. She was the widow of William Authur Teele and was a Baptist. She attended Woman's College of Greensboro, N.C., docent for the Portsmouth Museums, where she was honored for many hours of Volunteer Service, Officer and Director of Woman's Club of Portsmouth, on the board of Child and Family Services, Portsmouth and Chesapeake Association of Realtors. She was the daughter of the late Bossie Judson Dunning and Lizzie Hoggard Dunning of Aulander, N.C.

Survivors include a son, William R. Teele and his wife, Joan Teele of Annandale, Va.; a sister, Emily Newsom and her husband, M.C. Newsom Jr. of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Loving Funeral Home Chapel by the Dr. R. Clint Hopkins. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to be sent to the Portsmouth Woman's Club, 304 Sycamore Road, Portsmouth, Va. 23707.
