EZRA EISENBERG

Ezra Eisenberg, 74, of the 1000 block of Charity Drive, died Dec. 11, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mr. Eisenberg, a retired merchant, had owned the Sharyn Lynn Shoppe in Durham and Chapel Hill for 38 years. He was a native of Winston Salem, N.C., and spent most of his life in Durham. He attended the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He was a member of Temple Israel and Brith Shalom in Norfolk. Mr. Eisenberg was a veteran of World War II, a Mason with the Amran Temple in Raleigh, N.C., and 32nd degree Shriner, and a member of the Elks Lodge in Durham.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Schreiber Eisenberg; three daughters, Sharyn Wallace of Petach Tikvah, Israel, Carole Nathan of Columbia, Md., Marti Eisenberg of Wilmington, N.C.; a son, Dr. Stan Eisenberg of Dunwoody, Ga.; a sister, Sophie Krock of Palm Harbor, Fla.; a brother, Sam Eisenberg of Reidsville, N.C.; and 11 grandchildren.

A chapel service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, by Rabbi Michael E. Panitz and Cantor Isaac Danker. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Evelyn Schreiber Eisenberg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
