IVAN B. FARMER

Ivan Bernell Farmer, 66, of the 400 block of Cronin Road, died Dec. 10, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Mr. Farmer was born in Summerset, Ky. He was retired from the Navy as a BMCM Master Chief Petty Officer after 23 years of service and was also a retired self-employed mobile home trailer mover and installer. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam era.

Survivors include his wife of over 45 years, Eileen N. Farmer; two daughters, Valerie C. Harris and Sonja L. Webb, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Robert B. Farmer of Columbia, S.C.; two brothers, Tommy Farmer of Monticello, Ky., and Luthon Farmer of Tucson, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by the Rev. Fr. Edward L. Richardson. Burial with full military honors will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
