Lucena M. Velasco, 64, of the 1100 block of Fallbrook Bend, died Dec. 11, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Velasco was born in Gerona, Philippines, and was the widow of Jose F. Velasco. She was a member of Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel.
Survivors include four daughters and their husbands, Shirley and husband, Willie Mercado of Virginia Beach, Berlita and husband, Theodor Velasco Olivar of Montreal, Canada, Weibe and husband, Jhun Velasco Montero of Montreal, and Violeta and husband, Manuel Velasco Mirador of Montreal; a son, Ramy and his wife, Arsenia Velasco of Montreal; four brothers, Gideon Madriaga, Perfecto Madriaga, Samuel Madriaga and Flor Madriaga, all of the Philippines; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Road N.E., Atlanta, Ga. 30329.
