The aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower and its battle group are expected to arrive in the Adriatic Sea today for several days of operations before a holiday port call in France, a Navy spokesman said.
The Norfolk-based flattop moved through the Suez Canal and into the Mediterranean Sea earlier this week. The ship had been operating in the Persian Gulf since shortly after its deployment last month. by CNB
