MARGARET M. COOK

Margaret Mary Cook, 35, of Virginia Beach, died Dec. 15, 1994, in the Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

Mrs. Cook was a native of Auburn, N.Y., and a 1977 graduate of Auburn High School. She was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach and a member of O.E.S. Cato Star, Chapter (NU)234 in Cato, N.Y.

She was predeceased by her father, Francis Wenzel and her brother, Richard Wenzel.

Survivors include her husband, Perry J. Cook; a daughter, Sherri Marie Cook; and a son, Edward Clarence Cook, all of Virginia Beach; her mother, Virginia Wenzel of Auburn, N.Y.; seven sisters, Kathy Merritt, Mary Speach, Caroline Heffron, all of Auburn, N.Y., Theresa Denson of San Diego, Calif., Dorothy Wenzel of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Rita Wenzel of Conway, S.C. and Joan Brodsky of Tucson, Ariz.; several nephews, nieces, cousins and an aunt, Veronica Goodwin of Virginia Beach.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Michael Breslin. Burial will be in Conquest Cemetery in Conquest, N.Y. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Margaret M. Cook to the American Cancer Society or the St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church Building and Renovation Fund.
