John W. Knight Jr., died Dec. 15, 1994.
He was past president of the Optimist Club, past president of Princess Anne Exchange Club, member of CLU, member of Norfolk Sports Club, Grasshoppers Golf Association, Cypress Point Club and Harbor Club.
Survivors include his wife, Constance Knight of Virginia Beach; daughters, Joan Sidney Russell and Linda Joy and son, John Knight, all of California; daughter, Brenda Watkins of Virginia Beach; brother, Richard L. Knight Sr.; sister, Anne McLeod; two nephews; one niece; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Community United Methodist Church, 1072 Old Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23464. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hope Haven Foundation.
