JOHN S. MASON

John Samuel ``Jack'' Mason, 79 years, of the 300 block of E. Leicester Ave., a retired auto body technician and mechanic, died Dec. 15, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Mason was born in Accomack County, Va. He was currently residing at his sister's residence at 1505 E. Ocean View Ave., Norfolk. He retired from Bill Bruce Ford, formerly Bruce-Flournoy Motor Company, was a Roman Catholic and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Anne Barish of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Nonnie Fleear of Virginia Beach, Eula J. Kaull of Long Island, N.Y., and Alice Predmore of Norfolk; and two grandsons, John Samuel Knauer of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Timothy Wright Olsen of Virginia Beach. He was the son of the late John Samuel Mason Sr. and the late Madora Hoy Mason.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
