Harvie T. Weaver, 75, of the 1400 block of Cornfield Court, a retired heating and air conditioning serviceman, died Dec. 14, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Weaver was born in New York City and was retired from Johnson Service Co. of New York City after 42 years. He served as a carpenters mate first class in the Coast Guard during World War II.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Elsie Swistak Weaver; a daughter, Eileen Keenan and son-in-law, Terrance Keenan of Virginia Beach; and grandchildren, Deborah Keenan and Thomas Keenan of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Daniel N. Klem. Friends may visit the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, where a prayer service will be held beginning at 7:30 p.m.
