Nellie Lilley Parker, 79, of Route 1, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, in the Hallmark Center, Windsor, N.C.
Mrs. Parker was born in Gates County. The daughter of the late James Edward and Mrs. Ellen Creesey Lilley, she was a homemaker and a member of Cool Spring Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Thomas Earl Parker.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley P. Eure of Eure and Rachel P. Allen of Winton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cool Spring Baptist Church by the Rev. Horace Culpepper, the Rev. Tommy Hayes and the Rev. Wayne Gardner. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, handling arrangements. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter in Eure. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gates County Rescue Squad.
