Myrtle Brown, 85, of the 1000 block of Elkin St., died Dec. 15, 1994 in her residence.
She was born in Smithfield, Va., and was a member of First Gravel Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Irene Bracey; a brother, William Tynes; and a devoted niece, Aline Hicks, all of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Gravel Hill Baptist Church, Smithfield, by the Rev. Vince Thomas. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements. Family and friends will assemble at 1001 Elkin St., Norfolk, at 12:30 p.m. Saturday for the processional to the church.
