Mrs. Elizabeth Rains Walker, ``Mrs. Bessie'', age 98, died Thursday, Dec.15, 1994. She was a native of Mathews County. She was a lifelong educator, teaching at Seaford School, Seaford, Va., North, Peninsula, and Lee-Jackson schools, Mathews, Va., and a librarian at Mathews High School.
She is survived by two sons, Wallace R. Braman of Portsmouth, Chip Braman of Yorktown; six grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
