Pauline Brown Skinner of the 200 block of E. Indian River Road, a retired dietitian, died Dec. 13, 1994, in a local hospital.
She was born in old Norfolk County and was retired from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital after 23 years. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Catholic School.
Survivors include three daughters, Norine Drew, Mary M. Skinner and Pauline Skinner, all of Norfolk; five sons, Michael Skinner, Paul Skinner, Phillip Skinner, Webster M. Skinner and Larry Skinner, all of Norfolk; her mother, Norine Brown of Norfolk; a sister, Earlteen Jefferson of Chesapeake; two brothers, Tilmon Brown and Curtis Brown, both of Norfolk; 20 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in New Hope United Church of Christ, Norfolk, by the Rev. James Anderson and the Rev. Shelton Smith. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday. Family and friends will assemble at 209 E. Indian River Road, Norfolk, at 11 a.m. Saturday for the funeral processional to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
