Shawn Murphy has been named the series winner of the 1994 sailboat
season by the Roanoke Island Yacht Club, based on 11 races. Murphy
sailed Seabird, a 30-foot Hunter. Second place went to Randy
Saunders in Windsong, a 37-foot Hunter, and third to Bob Lunden in
Salty Dog, a 43-foot Columbia. In Lido-class racing, first went to
Tyler Saunders, second to Steve Musil and third to Rick Staub.
