It was in April, 1988 when the best bowlers in the local youth
tenpin league were recognized. The bowlers are John Goodwin (front),
5, the Pee Wee Division leader; Leslie Livesay, 13, the
Junior/Major/Senior pacesetter; Jamie Ritzman (back, center), 10,
first in Bantam Division; and John Harrell (right), 13, tops in Prep
Division. Livesay, now an outstanding adult league bowler and a June
graduate of Wilson High School, was the top high school softball
player in the city the past two seasons.
