Mrs. Mae Stephenson Tyndall, formerly of Norfolk, died Saturday December 17, 1994 in the Chowan Hospital in Edenton. Mrs. Tyndall was the wife of the late Fred Tyndall and the daughter of the late Joe and Esther Stephenson. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Edenton.
Mrs. Tyndall is survived by a daughter Barbara T. Burroughs of Edenton, N.C., a son Bill Tyndall of Mechanicsville, 2 sisters, Christine Morris of Stanley, N.C., and Margaret Flanagan of Goldsboro, N.C., 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Williford-Barham Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Richard Batzler. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk. The family will be receiving friends at the residence of Gil and Barbara Burroughs, 60 Queen Anne Drive, Edenton. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, West Queen Street, Edenton, N.C. 27932.
