Mrs. Eager Bryant DeLoatche, age 90, a resident of Boykins, Va., died Sat., Dec. 17, 1994, at East Pavilion, Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin, Va. She was born in Boykins and was daughter of the late W. C. & Ann Bailey Bryant. She was a retired Elementary School teacher, having taught over 30 years in the Southampton County, Henry County and Northampton County, (NC) systems. She was a member of the Boykins Baptist Church. Her husband was the late Ralph G. DeLoatche. She is survived by a son, R. Graydon DeLoatche, Boykins, two grandchildren, William Bryant DeLoatche, Boykins, Julianne DeLoatche Guller, Richmond, and a sister, Mrs. Virgie Bryant Porter, Cumberland.
A graveside funeral will be held in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, VA on Monday, Dec. 19, 1994, at 1:00 p.m. by the Rev. Ben Thomas. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Baptist Children's Home, DDM, Salem, VA. The family will be at the residence. Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins is handling arrangements.
