JOHN J. DAVIS JR.

John J. Davis Jr. of the 1800 block of Cullen Ave., a brick mason, died Dec. 14, 1994 in a local hospital.

Mr. Davis was born in Norfolk. He was a member of First Baptist Church Campostella.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Davis - Chesapeake; three daughters, Valerie Ford - Norfolk, Tavoh Taylor - Chesapeake, Nicole Davis - Washington, D.C.; three sons, Kevin Riddick, Dwayne Riddick - both of Chesapeake, Antonio Davis - Washington, D.C.; his mother, Dorothy Davis - Washington, D.C.; five sisters, Deloris Gatling, Juanita Davis, Malvina Davis, Geneva Davis, Louisa Davis - Washington, D.C.; six brothers, Vernon Lee Davis, Dornell Davis, Wayne Davis - Washington, D.C., Victor Williams, Harvey Williams, William Williams - Norfolk, Va.; 6 grandchildren; a host of family and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church Campostella, Norfolk, by the Rev. Harold Cason. Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
