Naval Base Norfolk Federal Credit Union named Charles Garten vice president of credit and Katie Murphy senior loan officer. They were employed by Continental Federal Credit Union.
Sheila B. Johnson was named senior vice president of Central Fidelity Bank in Norfolk. Johnson, who joined the bank in 1987, is group manager for the human resources division. Prior to that, she was director of personnel for the Albany (N.Y.) Medical College.
ENGINEERING
Elias J. Logothetis was named senior project engineer at the Norfolk structural engineering firm of Abiouness Cross & Bradshaw Inc. He was senior structural engineer at MMM Design Group.
American Systems Engineering Corp. of Virginia Beach hired Louis Colbus for its business development group. He was with Creasy Electronics and Ship Repair.
