Martha Rottler Fitz, 96, formerly of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive, a retired seamstress, died Dec. 18, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Fitz was born in Jackson County, Iowa. She was the widow of Oakey L. Fitz and was a longtime member of Norview Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Emma Rottler of Norfolk and Elizabeth Rottler of Drakes Branch, Va.; nieces and nephews, Raymond and Joyce Rottler Jr. of Chesapeake, Mary Childry of Hampton, Laura Nuttycombe of Richmond, Rachel and Fred Schneider of Virginia Beach and Martha Allyn and Bob Calais of Pineville, N.C.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Norview Presyterian Church by the Rev. Susan Solomon and the Rev. J. Bradford Langdon. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and also at 1075 Hugo St., Norfolk.
