Dorothy M. Bertka, 64, died Dec. 18, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Bertka was born in Saulters Depot, S.C., and was retired from Red Lobster after 15 years. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, K.R. Bertka; three daughters, Roxana M. Olwin of Portsmouth, and Rowena G. Thompson and Rina D. Bertka, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, Richard E. Bertka of Virginia Beach and Ronald K. Bertka of Norfolk; two brothers, J.R. ``Buck'' Ridgeway of South Carolina and Robert Ridgeway of California; two grandchildren, Christopher L. Davis of Portsmouth and Melanie L. Thompson of Virginia Beach; and a son-in-law, Don L. Olwin of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Pastor Elmer Medley. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home today and Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
