ROGER R. LAPRE

Roger Richard Raymond Lapre, 80, of the 1000 block of Dune St., a lumberjack and carpenter, died Dec. 19, 1994, in Norfolk.

Mr. Lapre was born in Racine, Canada. He was a Catholic.

Survivors include three daughters, Alice Parrish of Norfolk, Shirley Pearson of San Diego, Calif., and Janet Williams of Springfield, Vt.; two sons, Raymond Lapre of Altoona, Fla., and Richard Lapre of Middle Granville, N.Y.; his stepmother, Blanche Lapre of Winter Haven, Fla.; a sister, Therese Simoneau of Winter Haven, Fla.; two brothers, Lionel Lapre of Winter Haven and Rahoul Lapre of Cuttingsville, Vt.; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Alice Lapre of Springfield, Vt.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Ocean View Presbyterian Church by Dr. James Carriker. Burial will be in East Clarenton Cemetery on Dec. 22. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling local arrangements. Mr. Lapre will be sent to Rutland, Vt., where visitation and a Christian wake service will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at Aldous Funeral Home on Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wallingford, Vt. Memorial contributions may be made to the Onesimus Ministries, P.O.
