PEARL J. MOORE

Pearl J. Moore, 59, of the 800 block of Charlotte St., a retired food service employee, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 1994, in her residence.

Mrs. Moore was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Winston L. Moore. She worked in food service and had been employed at the Harbor Club and most recently at Norfolk State University. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Salvation Army and former member of the United Order of Tents, Star of the East (NU)6.

Survivors include four daughters, Virginia L. Bullock, Claudette E. Haskins, Jacqueline M. Hall and Rosa P. Moore; a son, Paul M. Moore of Richmond; her mother, Virginia Vaughan of Norfolk; a brother, Walter Chapman of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 525 Dinwiddie St., by Dr. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in church at noon Thursday.
