WILLIAM J. MILLER

William James Miller, 87, of the 5500 block of Carolanne Terrace, died Dec. 20, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Miller was born in London, Ohio. He was the retired owner of Tidewater Auto Auction Co. and was a member of Temple Baptist Church, Knoxville, Tenn.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Peterson Miller; two daughters, Ellen Marie Foreman of Kenesaw, Ga. and Sharon Elizabeth Booth of Warrenville, Ill.; six sons, James Monroe Miller of Stone Mountain, Ga., John Henry Miller of Detroit, Mich., Daniel Wade Miller of Richmond, William D. Miller of Knoxville, Tenn. and Mark A. Miller and Paul E. Miller, both of Chesapeake; two sisters, Anna Miller of Natpanee, Ind. and Lovina Miller of Worchester, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Ted Bashford. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the residence at all other times. Memorial contributions should be made to Hope Haven Children's Home.
