David Winfield Emory, 58, of the 21000 block of Millbrook died Dec. 19, 1994, in California.
Mr. Emory was born in Norfolk. He was an officer with the Norfolk Police Department for 14 years before moving to California and was a manager for Investment Corp.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Fiore of New Hampshire and Lee Anne Emory of Chesapeake; a son, Mark Thompson Emory of Norfolk; his mother, Jessie Thompson Emory; a sister, Alice B. Maisey of Chesapeake; five grandchildren; and his fiancee, Judie Van Rosson of Mission Viejo, Calif.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Steve Bingham. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Community United Methodist Church, 37 Cherry Road, Portsmouth, Va. 23701.
